SummerDance 2010! Intensive - July 5 to July 23, 2010

Summerdance! at the Parksville Ballet School is an intensive 3 week dance experience under the guidance of recognized staff in a charming vacation setting.  This intensive dance program is for pre-professional dance students aged 12 and up. The exceptional guest teachers and artists provide caring and careful instruction conducive to technical and artistic progress. We invite you to join this staff who will bring to the Summer School a wide variety of performing and teaching expertise and who are known for their excellence in dance training.

  The Summerdance! program is held between the hours of 9:00AM - 5:00PM.  Students should currently be taking a minimum of 3 ballet classes weekly and should have a 3 year minimum experience in dance.  Classes during Summer School will vary in length dependent on the students' age and level of training.   All classes include Ballet, Jazz, Modern and Musical Theatre.  Pointe classes may be offered to our Senior students as well as Repertoire and Classical Variations.  On July 5th, students will be auditioned and placed in the appropriate level.  Class sizes are limited, so register early!

Billeting may be available for dancers living further than 100 km away from Parksville.
